It is located at the western coast of the Goa, south Goa district on the name of Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. This city is just 30 kilometers far from Panaji capital of the Goa. Dabolim Airport international airport is just 5 kilometers from Vasco da Gama city. This city has many tourist attractions like Bogmalo Beach, 400 years old St. Andrew's Church and India's Naval Aviation Museum.

 Margao: It is a second largest populated city of the Goa state. It is also called cultural and commercial capital of the Goa state. Margaon is just 33 kilometers far from Panajim city capital of the Goa state. Margaon tourist attractions are Holy Spirit Church, Old Market, Margao City Hall, Margao Municipal Park, Piple Katta Mandir and Goa's biggest sports stadium.

 Panaji: It is also called Panajim in English. It is a political and administrative capital of the Goa state. This city is located at the bank of the Mandovi River. It main tourist attractions are Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Dona Paula beach, Goa Medical College etc.
